No Sharing Test

I naively thought that applications I use online do what I ask them to do. In other words, if an App vendor has added a functionality to the App, which is already on the market and may be used by customers, the vendor has no ethical rights to enable this functionality automatically. The vendor must notify each customer individually and offer an option of enabling this new one. Such a vendor’s behaviour was and is always considered respectful to the customer.

This service’s conduct seems lost by WordPress.

WordPress has decided for me with no authorisation that all my posts on my website (hosted by WordPress) must be automatically shared on social media. This violates my customer rights and makes me dissatisfied with WordPress after many years of being their customer.
